INTRODUCTION

Based on Scrapheap Challenge, a new small-scale project is set each term and family teams attend 8 weekly Saturday sessions from 10.30am-12.00noon at Denefield School, Long Lane, Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire.

Come along and meet the team!

This free family activity is open to anyone with children aged 5+ who must be accompanied by an adult. Bring along your friends, aunts, uncles and grandparents! Team sizes: 2-6.

All materials and refreshments are provided free of charge and recycling items from home is also encouraged.

Free creche facilities are on offer for the under 5’s (subject to availability) and those with additional needs can be catered for.

Transport costs can be covered for those on free school meals and for those with SEN children.

New ideas are welcome for future challenges - these include submarines, obstacle courses, trains, cars and moving castles!

Families enjoy spending quality time together and a chance to be creative while also learning a variety of new skills.
